Garbage in, garbage out
Three years ago I gave up Morning Television. I gave up the News, weather and talking heads.
It wasn't easy.
I had been getting ready for work with "good morning America" for decades.
But 3 years ago something changed for me.
As if I woke up.
I asked myself, Why am I starting my day with SO MUCH NEGATIVITY?
Let's face it, the horrible stories out weigh the positives by 4-1.
I decided my return on investment in Morning Television was just a loss of time and positive mental attitude.
Don't get me wrong, I feel for the people who are experiencing tragedy, I worry for the animals going extinct, I'm concerned about global warming and yes, I too, fret about our Countries leadership. I just don't need to be bombarded with it at the beginning of my day. I choose not to be governed by it.
So, to the gal in line at Dunkins this morning who raised an eyebrow to me in judgement when I responded "no" to her question "did you see the news?"
Nope, nada, not me... I'm in a state of happy denial.
Mother always said: "garbage in=garbage out". I'm protecting my "garbage load capacity"!
Nameste! Garden time in the morning with the birds❤️
